The scene: Millennial woman, mid-20s, leaving her SoulCycle class, wearing her Outdoor Voices matching set, proceeds to buy overpriced avocado toasts. The critics will say it’s a lazy rendering of a character with no depth; a caricature — but the real fans know she just hates herself for becoming an all-too-real stereotype who, obviously, has to post about it on Instagram.
The more skincare products I have, the more put together I am? Or is it the more products I have the more likely I am using skincare as a coping mechanism? Hard to say!!
